August 2010 - New 7.5m RIB Tender Completes Trials
A new 7.5m RIB Tender designed by Allseas Design Ltd has just successfully completed sea trials and will shortly be delivered for use aboard a newly launched 78m superyacht from Abeking & Rasmussen. Powered by a Yanmar BY260 with the new Yanmar ZT350 drive the boat will be used as a general purpose tender.
December 2009 - New 9m Limousine Tender Under Construction
The hull mould for a new 9m Limousine Tender has now been completed and construction work on the vessel is underway. The boat will incorporate electric doors, a sliding glass roof, air conditioning, an interior finish of exceptional quality and a host of specially developed custom features. The moulds for this vessel have been designed to give flexibility to enable variation in hull length and interior layout for future vessels. December 2009 - Compass Tenders CS750 Owner's RIB On Trial
In early December Compass Tenders launched the CS750 Owner's RIB, a one-off custom built 7.5m luxury RIB sports tender. Designed by Christian Stimpson and powered by a Yanmar BY260 engine with the new Yanmar ZT350 drive, the boat is built from carbon composites and incorporates a removable bow section to allow stowage in the available garage space on the Heesen mother-ship. The console is also folds to facilitate stowage in a confined space.
With a top speed in excess of 40 knots and seating for up to 10 guests the boat is a very versatile sports tender.
The dash board incorporates the new Garmin touch screens showing engine and navigation instrumentation.
Facilities for wake boarding and waterskiing are incorporated into the design.
The custom built windscreen incorporates our standard carbon mullions and can fold down and be easily removed.
Port and starboard side steps allow easy side on dock access and also incorporate a T bar style swimming ladder which can easily be deployed from it's stowage on the engine box lid.
The forward 1.2m of the bow section are removable to facilitate stowing in a restricted space.
November 2009 - Compass Tenders 5m Rescue Boat On Trial
In late November Compass Tenders put a new 5m Rescue Boat through trials ready for delivery to the client. The boat has been built to meet some very specific requirements including the ability to carry a stretcher as it will operate as a rescue boat. It is driven by a Yanmar BY180 with Hamilton Jet Drive.
There is comfortable seating for up to 8 guests.
The bow section opens forward to allow easy access during beach landings.
The aft swim platform incorporates a fold down swim ladder.
November 2009 - Compass Tenders 6.5m Fast Workboat On Trials
Compass Tenders put its new 6.5m Fast Workboat to the test in early November. Powered by a Yanmar BY180 using a Bravo 3 leg (although a Hamilton Jet Drive could be substituted as the drive unit) the boat has a top speed of 35 knots and has been specifically designed as a work/service launch for a 115m Lloyd Werft motor yacht.
The design incorporates a landing craft style bow to allow easy beach access and facilitate smooth loading and unloading of equipment.
The console incorporates Garmin screens interfaced to engine and navigation instruments.
The open style transom facilitates ease of access for both swimming and moving equipment.

September 2009 - Compass Tenders To Launch 7.5m RIB And 5m Rescue Boat For Heesen Yachts 47m Motor Yacht
October will see the launch of two new tenders for a 47m Heesen Motor Yacht. The first of these is a 7.5m RIB fitted out as a luxury tender. The boat's Yanmar BY260 diesel engine, coupled to the new Yanmar ZT350 drive leg, ensures a top speed in excess of 40 knots. The boat has a removable bow section and fold down console for ease of stowage in the tender garage.
The second, a 5m Rescue Boat, has been specifically designed for use in the extreme conditions of the Arctic circle and to meet the yacht's safety requirements with space to carry a stretcher and a landing craft style bow door. It's cathedral hull form helps ensures a stable rescue platform. This boat is driven by a Yanmar BY180 coupled to a Hamilton Jet Drive.
June 2009 - New Allseas Luxury 7.5m D RIB Jet Tender and 8m Owner's Launch For 65m Feadship Motoryacht On Trials
In early June we completed pre-delivery trials on a pair of tenders for a 65m Feadship Motoryacht. Both boats were both designed by Patrick Banfield of Allseas Design and have been built to meet exacting weight and preformance specifications. Having owned motor yachts for many years, the owner's requirements for the boats were very specific and gave the Compass Tenders team an excellent opportunity to demonstrate their specialist skills.

August 2008 - New Orders For Compass Tenders

Compass Tenders is pleased to confirm that it has received orders for two new tenders for the 65m Feadship motoryacht "Pestifer", currently under construction. The first (pictured above) is an 8m open launch for owner and guest use with a 0.5m removable bow section to enable the boat to be stowed in a confined space. The second (pictured below) is a 7.5m utility RIB tender with a centre console and jet propulsion. The 8m launch is powered by twin Volvo D3 with stern drives and the 7.5m RIB is powered by a Volvo D4 engine and Hamilton jet drive. Both boats are constructed using epoxy composites including carbon fibre for weight saving. This project is being undertaken in association with Patrick Bamfield of Allseas Design, continuing our close working relationship with this highly regarded superyacht tender designer. The tenders are due for delivery in early 2009.
April 2008 - New 7.3m RIB Launched

A new Compass Tenders 7.3m RIB is currently undergoing sea trials and final testing in preparation for delivery to a motor yacht managed by Blue Ocean Yacht Management. Designed by Patrick Bamfield of Allseas Design with an outstanding specification including I-Pod docking station, hot shower, sumptuous upholstery, a concealed fold-down cuddy hood to provide shelter for guests in inclement conditions and an interface Raymarine to Yanmar engine monitoring system. The tender is powered by a Yanmar BY260 engine with Bravo 3 Mercruiser outdrive leg giving a top speed in excess of 40 knots and exeptional handling.
