August 2008 - New Orders For Compass Tenders
Compass Tenders is pleased to confirm that it has received orders for two new tenders for the 65m Feadship motoryacht "Pestifer", currently under construction. The first (pictured above) is an 8m open launch for owner and guest use with a 0.5m removable bow section to enable the boat to be stowed in a confined space. The second (pictured below) is a 7.5m utility RIB tender with a centre console and jet propulsion. The 8m launch is powered by twin Volvo D3 with stern drives and the 7.5m RIB is powered by a Volvo D4 engine and Hamilton jet drive. Both boats are constructed using epoxy composites including carbon fibre for weight saving. This project is being undertaken in association with Patrick Bamfield of Allseas Design, continuing our close working relationship with this highly regarded superyacht tender designer. The tenders are due for delivery in early 2009.
